I’ve worked on the design of large-scale, complex, distributed information systems for most of my career. Early on I worked in R&D, then later as a Principal Architect and Consultant in Enterprise Architecture and the design of enterprise-scale solutions. I enjoy solving hard problems, like

unraveling the complexities of a large system of systems
(re)designing systems for new business needs
finding new opportunities to leverage existing systems (and talent)
planning enterprise-scale systems transformation
transforming IT organizations, processes, and systems
